Weddings and Crates

We were invited to three weddings last month and of course I was behind in the gift giving department!! So I made up for it this weekend.

I made six of these!

And put them together like this!! A pie plate, pie crust mix, a can of pie filling, two handmade potholders and a serving knife. All tied up with some ric-rac made a fine gift! Don't you think?

I also covered a crate for Dancer to put her shoes in! You can get the directions on how to cover your own crate here!

Piece & love,
Dawn

Dawn you are just to creative for my mind. The other day tess was starting to teach me how to stich, and while she was tracing I just went gagga over all the things you've made and the things in your "quilting" room. You are just so TALENTED!

You always have the best ideas for gifts! And the crate turned out so cute! What type of container is under the fabric cover?
