The Postman Rang Twice

I never saw the movie, but it's fun to say "The Postman Always Rings Twice"!

Rachel over at p.s. i quilt was featured on Moda Bake Shop by making a darling frame and pencil holder. To celebrate she had a little giveaway...and guess what??? I was the winner!!

This is what I won!! Thanks Rachel!! Rachel has a great blog and makes me laugh with each post.

I keep forgetting to show my Japanese books I ordered after visiting with Nanette and viewing all her delicious Japanese books she brought when we visited with Nedra. Of course they are written in Japanese and I can't read one word, but hey, who cares.... I like to look at pictures!!

After my Pink Ladies Stitchery class I picked up these beauties! I can read these but I still like to look at the pictures too!!

I also bought some fabric. Can you go into a fabric shop without buying fabric??? I think not! I will be working with these next week...so stay tuned.

I had two more wedding invites last week. Filled a basket with washcloths and dishtowels I made using Nanette's ideas. What would I do without her? People would get boring gifts that's for sure!! I forgot to take a picture of the everything in the basket. I added some dish soap and scrubbies. It was cute...sorry you missed it!

Piece & love,
Dawn

You and Sherri both got lovely Japanese books! No fair!
Hearing your story made me happy to think about our day together and all that I learned in just a short period of time. I've been looking for waffle fabric ever since too!

Aren't the Japanese books the greatest? Chelsi was laughing at me the other night as I was "reading" one! She thought it was so funny!

Too sweet Dawn. Thanks so much for your kind words. I love those books. I have a bin of them in the family room right now and when I get a spare moment I just look through them. Who needs words! Be careful though, they are addicting. I'm trying to be selective though since I have quite a few. The towels are really cute. And so are you!

Congratulations on your win from Rachel. Her blog is so fun to read. Where did you order you Cotton time magazine from? I went searching on the internet but can't seem to find a place.
Lovely fabrics too.

I have to smile because I have one of those Japanese magazines.
Mine is full of divine bags. So far all I've done is look at the
pictures LOL!
I love the diaper bag and accessories you made. The fabrics are gorgeous.
